I am Melanie Caitlin, a photographer based near Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and this is my own place on the almighty web.

I've come a long way since I first started this crazy adventure. You see, I was only small when I first got my hands on a camera. I remember it clearly, however. I was seven years old when my parents gave me a Barbie camera for Christmas. This fluorescent pink, glittery box became an obsession. At the time, I was just about tall enough to reach my mother's legs and I developed a habit of snapping them. Thankfully that habit passed as I got older.

What I am trying to say is that photography has always had a way of capturing me. Creating visible, touchable memories over the years has resulted in some of my happiest memories. Some of those favourite memories can be found in the gallery section of this website. I hope to make at least one person as enthusiastic about them as I am, as inspired as I am. Let's create love and share it.
